jaws crashing in dialog boxes

Hi all. I mentioned this problem in the rant bord but wanted to post this issue here. At work I'm currently running win2000 and jaws7.0 on my pc. Whenever I run into a dialog box jaws will shut down and not reload until I have a sighted person click out of the dialog box for me then jaws will come back up when I bring it up with my hotkey. Anyone else having this issue with jaws7.0 and how to fix it? I only use jaws6 at home so can't duplicate this issue on my home pc. Thanks.

Is there any way you could download an earlier version of jaws (say 6.2) and see if you have the same problem?

Is it any dialog (that would be strange indeed), a certain dialog, or a particular type of dialog (say ones with a combo list, or something).

Sounds like a call to freedom scientific might be in order.

Is there a specific program for which this happens?
when in said problem dialogs, have you tried switching to the desktop, enabling jaws with your hotKey, and attempting another alt-tab to the problem area?
Another suggestion would be to launch narrator and see what you can get.

It's a program with a lot of combo boxes. I quit using the program so we'll see what happens. I've tried narator which does work, however it does not let me click ok still on the box with the enter key.

sounds like you need to get the creator of the program involved.
